Wealth Management Report: According to 13th annual global wealth management report released by the Boston Consulting Group’s, Qatar has the highest density of millionaires in the world, with 14.3 percent of the oil-rich Gulf nation's population holding private wealth of at least 1 million US dollars.
RBI hiked the Cap for Online Repatriation of Export Proceeds: The cap on online repatriation of export proceeds was raised by to 10000 US dollars by RBI to arrest the slide in the value of rupee and boost Forex inflows.
RBI Penalty: RBI imposed a fine on Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank for violation of KYC norms and anti-money laundering guidelines.

Hacking of Axis Bank Accounts: Twenty-nine accounts of Axis Bank were hacked during April 2013 and May 2013. Out of these, 12 accounts were those of Mumbai policemen.
SK Roy: The Government of India decided to appoint SK Roy as the new Chairman of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC).
World’s largest Container Ship: Maersk Line unveiled the World’s largest Container Ship named Maersk McKinney Moller from the South Korean Shipyard.
World Elder Abuse Awareness Day: World Elder Abuse Awareness Day was celebrated on 15 June 2013. The day aims to focus global attention on the abuse of elders.
Anish Kapoor: Anish Kapoor, the Indian-origin sculptor was honoured with Knighthood, which is the highest honour of Britain by Queen Elizabeth II.
John William Ashe: John William Ashe, the ambassador to the United Nations for Antigua and Barbuda selected as the President of UN General Assembly for its 68th session.
