IInd IBPS exam is scheduled on 17 June 2012 for Probationary officers. Many students who have given Ist IBPS exam are also appearing for this exam alongwith the new ones who are appearing for the first time. Total number of candidates will be no doubt very high keeping in view bulk vacancies being offered by the banks.
We will throw some light on Do’s and Dont’s of attempting the paper which could help you score better in IBPS Exam.
  • Manage and divide time for each section of exam and stick to the time limit of each section, time limit has to be decided by you, as you might feel easy doing Aptitude section and reasoning but feel weak in English section, so divide your time accordingly.
  • Individual cut off has to be crossed in order to qualify, so First try to clear cut off for each section and then come to your strong section to grab more marks

  • Filling Biodata form takes long time, so you must go through the dummy biodata form received by you alongwith the Admit card, as it will save your time, especially if you are giving exam for the first time.

  • Keep in view the time when question appear is to be distributed, ask your invigilator to distribute question paper well in advance, seal is to be broken at specified time  but you must possess the question paper before the bell rings

  • Do not stick to one question for a long time

  • Negative marking plays a crutial role in bank exams, so make sure you mark only correct answers

  • Descriptive Section can make a large difference in marks, so try to maximise your writing skills in descriptive section and try to describe your thoughts in a simple and clean language
Dont forget to carry
  • ID Proof
  • Call Letter
  • Passpost size Photograph
  • Challan Receipt (Not mandatory but you should carry it with you)

Try to give your best in the exam and dont panic if questions are tough, if questions are tough then Cutt offs are bound to go lower

Its a personal request from us to those who have already given the exam to please mention any other precaution to be taken while attempting exam for other fellow readers

All the best for the exam!!!!!!!!
